Der Milwaukee M12 High Output 5,0 Ah kann bis zu 25% mehr Power liefern als der M12 B4 Akku. Der  Akku verfügt über die REDLINK-Intelligenz, sowie einen Überspannungsschutz, der das Gerät effizient vor Schaden schützt. Das integrierte Temperatur Management hält den Milwaukee M12 Akku bei idealer Arbeitstemperatur für optimale Lebensdauer. Die patentiert Technologie im inneren des Akkus sichert eine optimal Leistungsabgabe. Des Weiteren kann der Akku bei extremen Temperaturen bis -20 °C eingesetzt werden, ohne dass Laufzeit und Lebensdauer des Akkus beeinträchtigt werden. Darüber hinaus besitzt der M12 eine Einzelzellenüberwachung, die gewährleistet ein optimales Laden und Entladen. Ein Metallrahmen im Akku schützt diesen zuverlässig vor starken Vibrationen und bei einem Sturz. Selbstverständlich ist der 5 Ampere Akku mit dem ganzen M12 Sortiment von Milwaukee kompatibel.
