Das hochglanzpolierte Blatt ist gehärtet, hat einen scharfen Schnitt und eine abgerundete Stufe. Die Stufe verhindert Beschädigungen am Schuhwerk.

Eschenholz

Der Griff der Atlas-Schaufel ist aus hochwertigem Eschenholz gefertigt. Eschenholz ist zäh, absorbiert Stöße und ist stark. Das Eschenholz wird am Computer in einer Klimakammer getrocknet, damit es nicht schrumpft und die Werkzeuge ohne Leim oder Heftklammern fest mit dem Stiel verbunden bleiben. Die Griffe von ATLAS werden in kochendem Wasser gebogen, wodurch die Holzmaserung oder das Gewinde im Griff erhalten bleibt und ein Austreiben verhindert wird. Dieser Biegeprozess macht den Stiel außergewöhnlich stark. Außerdem ist der ATLAS-Stiel mit pflanzlichem Carnauba gewachst, was eine längere Lebensdauer und einen schönen, glatten Stiel garantiert, der Blasenbildung verhindert.
