Infuse your home with organic charm and quiet elegance with the Koda Travertine & Wood Globe Pendant—a masterclass in elemental harmony. This luminary artfully bridges the gap between raw earth and refined modernism, pairing a hand-finished natural travertine disc with a warm solid wood body and a glowing opal glass orb. Inspired by Wabi-Sabi philosophy, it celebrates the beauty of natural textures and balanced silhouettes, serving as a meditative focal point for the contemporary sanctuary.

Designed to breathe life into Japandi and minimalist interiors, the Koda provides a soft, celestial glow that eliminates harsh shadows. Whether suspended over a kitchen island to mirror nature's geometry or acting as a grounded accent in a master suite, its mix of ancient stone and living wood creates an atmosphere of "quiet luxury" and timeless serenity.

Key Features

  • Authentic Wabi-Sabi Materiality A sophisticated combination of genuine porous travertine, solid wood, and hand-blown opal glass for a rich, multi-textured visual experience.

  • Sculptural Geometric Silhouette The flat travertine disc perfectly balances the organic wooden globe, creating an artistic, low-profile form that anchors high-end decors.

  • Soft Diffused Atmosphere The opal glass globe acts as a natural filter, scattering light into a cozy, glare-free warm glow that is ideal for daily living and relaxation.

  • Curated Finish Options Available in a light Natural Wood & Beige for a breezy Scandi look, or a rich Walnut & Beige for a more grounded, mid-century feel.

  • Universal G9 Compatibility Optimized for energy-efficient G9 LED or Edison bulbs, allowing for a compact architectural footprint without sacrificing luminous power.

  • Versatile Multi-Space Design Perfectly proportioned to elevate dining rooms, living areas, or bedrooms as both a functional light source and a sculptural statement.

  • Stable Suspension System Features a high-quality hanging design that ensures the heavy stone and wood components remain secure and perfectly balanced.

This book will crush infertile couples
Format: Paperback
I don't know how this book has a 5-star review rating. It's poorly researched and lacks any depth on the very subject it's supposed to be dealing with. The first section on Birth-Control just goes on and on about how Children are a Blessing and a Reward from God. And it says in one of the footnotes that the only reason couples shouldn't have kids is if the wife has a medical condition that would make pregnancy life-threatening or they are too old when they got married. Infertility isn't even mentioned. In the section on Infertility, there is NO research on how common it is, what causes it, etc. It's just Infertility is hard on women, and men will never quite understand why. And then on ARTs, they are treated as a guarantee that a couple will have kids if they do the treatment. The one and only stat he cites in this section is on IVF and he clearly read the information wrong. He didn't look to see what the difference is between cycles and transfers and said that IVF has over a 50% success rate in women under 34. That number is way too high and will only cause false hope, and misunderstandings about childless couples. And some of his research was from 2007, making it out of date in this cutting-edge technology.
