What is Doctor’s Best Nattokinase?

Nattokinase is a fibrinolytic enzyme derived from “natto”, a traditional Japanese food. During the natto production process friendly Bacillus subtilis bacteria ferment boiled, non-GMO soybeans producing nattokinase. Doctor’s Best Nattokinase has the vitamin K removed because vitamin K assists in blood coagulation.

How does it work?

Nattokinase lowers plasma levels of proteins that affect blood flow. These actions of Nattokinase are similar to plasmin. Plasmin, present in blood, degrades many plasma proteins, including fibrin clots. The net effect of lowering these proteins is a modulation in overall circulation and blood flow. These effects have been demonstrated during randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies.

Nattokinase helps the body maintain healthful circulation. Healthy circulatory function is essential for supporting cardiovascular and heart wellness. Nattokinase promotes healthy circulation in the blood vessels. It aids the body in healthy blood flow which can promote all around health for the heart, brain, and muscles through circulation and therefore provide vital oxygen supply to all organs.

It is thin and very pliable. The mat is great quality and has held up with my kitty attacking it during playtime as well. Whether for home or for travel uses- it’s a big hit with my kitty! Works just as described and makes a wonderful addition for these colder months.
