However, they are not water-resistant and cannot be installed in bathrooms or near water sources. The downlight is fixed, meaning you cannot redirect the light beams after installation. Ensure that you're settled with the positioning of the fixtures before trimming the cut-out holes. The installation process is hassle-free thanks to its twist-and-lock mechanism and push-fit terminal blocks. The downlight is also mains-powered, so you don't need to purchase an individual driver or transformer.

Our LED downlight stands out with its fire rating of 30, 60, and 90 minutes for solid joist ceilings and 30 minutes for web and I-joist ceilings. It's also insulation-coverable, allowing you to place loft insulation loosely over its rear. However, this feature requires pairing it with a GU10 LED lamp with a maximum power of 7w.

In addition, this downlight is compatible with any GU10 bulb, but to access its dimming function, you'll need a dimmable GU10 bulb and an LED-compatible dimmer switch! The GU10 bulb comes in cool white, natural white, and warm white light, which is ideal for task and ambient lighting.
