The Unalome is the, ever decreasing spiral that represents our daily, earthly distractions.
As we grow older and wiser, the spiral gradually decreases to become a straight line pointing upwards.
This represents the path of truth to nirvana, to enlightenment.
It is super detailed. From the monk's facial features, clothes and staff he is holding to the bowl and beautiful Buddhist symbols on the shell. It is absolutely beautiful!
It is encased in a fitted, protective, hard plastic to be made as a pendant and it will come to you on a stainless steel chain necklace.
The necklace is 60cm long or 23.5 inches.
**The amulet CANNOT be taken out of the pendant without breaking the pendant, but if you decide to do that then the amulet stands beautifully on its own.
