Designed for professional AV, broadcast, and data-center environments, the Middle Atlantic Front-Air Dam Panel Mount delivers a precise blend of airflow control and rack-space efficiency. This Front-Air Dam is a zero-U panel mount that fits seamlessly at the front of 27"W x 42RU SNE racks, letting you mount patch panels and other connectivity devices without sacrificing valuable vertical space. Built from steel and finished in a black powder coat, it combines rugged durability with a clean, professional appearance suitable for high-demand environments. By guiding air in a controlled path across front-mounted equipment, it helps maintain cooler, more consistent temperatures, reducing the risk of hotspots and improving overall system reliability. This panel is an ideal solution for broadcasters, post-production facilities, data centers, and any rack room where organization, airflow, and scalability matter. When you need a robust, space-saving front access solution that doesn’t compromise cooling performance, the Front-Air Dam Panel Mount stands up to daily rigors while keeping cables tidy and accessible for maintenance and upgrades.

  • Maximize usable rack space with a zero-U footprint — Mount front-facing gear without consuming vertical rack units, freeing up 1U, 2U, or more for devices that truly benefit from front access. This streamlined panel makes it possible to assemble denser patches and connectivity configurations while preserving critical airflow pathways. A compact, front-edge design keeps cabling organized and reduces the clutter that often accompanies dense rack layouts, enabling quicker installs and easier future expansion.
  • Optimized front-to-front airflow with a dedicated dam — The Front-Air Dam channels cooling air directly to the devices mounted at the front, minimizing recirculation between enclosure elements. This targeted airflow control helps suppress hot spots across patch panels, network gear, and connectivity modules, delivering more stable temperatures under load and supporting longer equipment life and consistent performance in demanding workloads.
  • Durable steel construction with a professional finish — Constructed from solid steel and finished in a durable black powder coat, this panel withstands the rigors of busy racks and service cycles. The sturdy build resists bumps and wear, preserving the panel’s alignment and appearance as your rack evolves. The finish resists chips and corrosion in typical data-center and AV environments, maintaining a sleek, professional look even with frequent reconfigurations.
  • Easy installation with standard patch-panel knockouts — The panel provides knockouts compatible with standard patch panels and connectivity devices, enabling quick, straightforward integration into your existing front-end layout. Installers can align, mount, and secure the panel with conventional hardware, then proceed to load patch panels and devices in a tidy, accessible configuration that supports efficient cable management and routine maintenance.
  • Designed for wide 27"W SNE racks in professional settings — Specifically tailored for SNE racks and a 27"W footprint, this panel fits neatly in 42 RU configurations, delivering a precise fit for professional AV and data environments. It’s ideal for studios, control rooms, data centers, and other spaces where dense front-end connectivity must be paired with reliable airflow management for sustained performance.

Frequently asked questions

  • Q: What is the main purpose of the Front-Air Dam Panel Mount? A: Its primary role is to direct and optimize airflow at the front of wide racks, enabling better cooling for front-mounted devices while saving valuable vertical space in dense rack environments.
  • Q: Which racks is this panel compatible with? A: It is designed for 27"W x 42RU SNE racks and supports standard 19" equipment via the front-panel knockouts, making it suitable for professional AV and data-center installations.
  • Q: Does the panel come with mounting hardware? A: The description notes knockouts for patch panels and standard mounting provisions; installation typically uses common hardware chosen for your specific rack rails and frame, ensuring a secure fit.
  • Q: How does the front dam improve cooling? A: The front dam channels intake air directly toward front-mounted devices, reducing cross-air mixing and hot spots, which helps maintain more uniform temperatures across the rack and supports equipment reliability during peak workloads.
  • Q: Can I add more gear later without losing airflow efficiency? A: Yes. The zero-U design preserves vertical rack space for future expansion, while the front-air dam continues to provide targeted cooling for newly added patch panels or connectivity devices when properly arranged.

I’m a little disappointed.
Format: Kindle
I usually like Jillian West’s books but this one was missing a lot for me. The pregnancy didn’t come across as real. She’s on her feet for 12 hour days but is perfectly healthy at 8 months pregnant? Yet the week she moves in all of a sudden she’s not? She is planning on actually running during one of the plot buildups. But at 8 months pregnant that’s incredibly hard to do. The lack of breathing ability and lung space, the change in body center, mass, and gravity. All of it prohibits running, unless you’re an athlete this didn’t come off as at all realistic. I didn’t feel any connection with the alphas. There wasn’t any emotional connection. It could be because of the tense it was written in. But I didn’t get any deep feelings out of this. It came across as checking off boxes. Even the spicy scenes weren’t really believable for me. I wanted to see them fall for her, and it just kind of all fizzled. Even Bishop. One thing I did really like was the ending. I did not see it coming and I’m interested in reading book two because of it. But on the whole this book was mostly disappointing for me.

Vale is an 8 month pregnant omega working as a waitress at a strip club and a cam girl. She starts to get very creepy vibes from a regular at the club, and her baby daddy ghosted her. She has had an online relationship with a man named Bishop through her cam girl status. One night, bishop was paying to watch her sleep and ansthe creepy regular Andrew break in and watch her sleep he tells vale to come to him at his business now. She flees and finds herself at a large security company with some.hot of alphas who are there to help her. This imegaverse is a little different than I have read, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. Vale is not a traditional omega she was raised by a single beta mom, and the alphas are not normal alphas they have never really loved pack life. But they are ruthless mercenaries. They need her, and she needs them. I love the aspect of the stalker and now the plot twists at the end, so so good. Sometimes, it seemed a little slow and stale mated, but since this a duet, I think It was just her starting to have Vale get to know her alpha suitors. Cliffhanger for sure with this one.

That ending 😫
Format: Kindle
I fell into a false sense of security and really thought this was gearing towards a happy ending. Then I realized there’s no work they don’t punish Andrew. I really liked Vale’s character. I don’t normally read books with pregnancy but going into this knowing she was pregnant made it more enjoyable for me. I loved Bishops devotion to her and her happiness. I also loved that Holt and Mercy couldn’t fight their attraction to her. I love scent matches so very much. I’m so curious to see how this duet will end up. And I need to pay more attention and notice that a book I’m starting is a duet to begin with lol

I just knew there was something about Cooper! I’m wondering if he’s about to be included but damn I’m glad he’s at least not a rapist and creepy guy, he just got called on assignment and had to go! This should be interesting! She’s gonna run and then what’s his face is gonna grab her. I’m worried! Wow that was a great book and cliffhanger! Loving this!
