The high performance rotor replacement for your street vehicles that enables harder, more precise braking. Decades of experience, continuous research and development, and dedication to bringing the highest quality premium friction products have led to Talon® Rotors. Leveraging the high quality performance of Hawk Performance's® unique and proprietary DTC curved slot design, they are built to OE specifications, weights, and production processes, and are engineered to fit a vehicle's current braking system without modification.

Features:

  • Engineered, machined, finished, and coated in ISO certified facilities in North America
  • G3000 metallurgy – superior automotive casting material
  • Validated design and performance characteristics through extensive dynamometer testing
  • All rotors are balanced with CNC programmed, precision milled slots to significantly reduce harmonic resonance issues, maintain a clean pad surface and expel away debris
  • Salt-spray tested per ISO-9227, exceeding the 240 hours requirement
  • Proven cross-drilled designs to optimize thermal efficiency, heat dissipation, strength, and improve wet braking
  • Magni™ coating barrier applied that maintains superior corrosion resistance and ensures quick and easy bed-in that resists galling
  • Available in a cross-drilled and slotted design or slotted-only for heavy duty applications.

Take your street performance and stopping power to a new level with Hawk's race proven and street legal Talon® rotors. These high-performance brake rotors can be used both on the street by speed fanatics and on the track by racing professionals. Featuring a revolutionary drilled and slotted design, these rotors are the choice of many experienced racers.

The benefit of rounded slots is that they provide steady contact between the rotor and pad while sweeping away water, gas and dust. The beveled drilled holes provide superior cooling under the most extreme conditions. This results in a rotor that enables more forceful braking with temperatures lowered by 180 degrees. Without the extra heat, there's less chance for brakes to deteriorate, which means you will get maximum performance on the track.

Always order big!
I needed a minimum of 2 AWG wire to create interconnects between batteries in a large bank. If you note, these say 1/0 Gauge, not AWG. What is 1/0 Gauge? Who knows, it's fake. Meaningless, because it is not standardized so you have no clue what you are getting. What did I get for my 1/0 Gauge wire? Something that was in between 1 and 2 AWG (closer to 1). This was perfect for my needs because I knew darn well how big to order when they say gauge instead of AWG. As a rule of thumb: If they as gauge, order 3 - 4 sizes larger than you need in AWG. This will always net you larger wire than you need but I have never had it net me wire smaller than I needed. At the price I got it for during prime days, it was a steal for 2 AWG wire, so I win! I hope you found this helpful!

Heavy duty and has lasted three years so far
I have had this relay installed in the engine bay of my Lexus RX 300, functioning to link the front battery to the additional battery in the trunk whenever the ignition is on. The relay has worked reliably for about three years now with no complaints besides one minor comment, be careful when threading down the nut on the Low voltage side. It is prone to stripping

Heavy Duty!!
Performed extremely well. No buzzzing or poor connection. Extremely well built and has been working issue free for over 6 months! Instalation can be a bit difficult due to size and weight. Not really a problem.

Seems to be ok for the money
We use it to power a 2000w inverter for the refrigerator and microwave on our boat where sometimes it will stay on continuously throughout the day and it hasn't let us down. As others have said, the terminals are awful close together but for the money, it's worth it.
