Description

Airdog II-5G 220 GPH Air Fuel Separation Lift Pump System 08-10 Ford 6.4L PowerstrokeThe 6. 4L Powerstroke was Fords first go at utilizing a common rail fuel system, compared to their previous HEUI systems found on the 7. 3L and 6. 0L's. With this change in fueling, Ford was able to get impressive power numbers in stock form, but it was quickly realized that by merely adding a good programmer, you could easily add another couple hundred horsepower. But, can this new factory fuel system support this kind of power? No, definitely not.

The 6.4L Powerstroke was Fords first go at utilizing a common rail fuel system, compared to their previous HEUI systems found on the 7.3L and 6.0L's. With this change in fueling, Ford was able to get impressive power numbers in stock form, but it was quickly realized that by merely adding a good programmer, you could easily add another couple hundred horsepower. But, can this new factory fuel system support this kind of power? No, definitely not. The good news is for these kinds of power gains, the only thing you'll need to add to the truck is a good aftermarket lift pump, such as this 5G unit from AirDog.

The AirDog II-5G is an all in one premium fuel pump and filtration system for your 2008-2010 6.4L Powerstroke diesel. This system removes water, particulates, and entrained air from the diesel fuel. The entrained air that is separated from the fuel is returned to the tank through a small return fitting. The fuel is delivered to the engine at the correct pressure and flow rate to meet the demands of the engine under all operating conditions.

The AirDogII-5G DF-220 systems feature a built in adjustible diaphragm pressure regulator. All AirDog II-5G systems include a complete installation kit. The AirDog II-5G, for this particular application, is preset at 10 psi from the factory for a stock application. The regulator is adjustible up to 55 PSI so you can fine tune the system to perfectly match up to your current and future performance upgrades.

HOW IT WORKS:
The AirDog II-5G DF-220 draws fuel through a 5/8” suction line to reduce the risk of cavitation at the pump. The fuel is then drawn through the water separator where 92% of water is removed per SAE spec 1488. It is then pressurized through a Gerotor pump and sent to the 2 micron fuel filter before it is sent to the injection pump. The air from aerated fuel, due to tank sloshing and engine return lines, is separated and sent back to the tank through the 3/8” return fitting. The excess fuel that the engine does not use is recirculated through the diaphragm regulator back to the suction side of the pump.

Nice Side Table
Color: Ink Black, Number of Items: 1
This is a nice side table. The assembly hardware is of good quality. The wood product finishes are very nice and the pieces assemble solidly. The instructions are easy to follow except for the drawer slides where a little more concentration is needed . . . or maybe it’s just me.

Nice and sturdy side table but the white is not white

This is a nice-looking and sturdy side table. We found it easy to assemble. It works well in small spaces. Be sure to check the dimensions so you aren’t surprised by how narrow and long it is. The drawer is small, but big enough to hold some remotes or other small items. We ordered the white with brown top. Unfortunately, it definitely is not white but more of an ivory or cream color.

Great table!

Just what we were looking for! The table was well made and went together very easily (my husband and I did it in well under an hour). We were very pleased with the quality of the wood. The only thing I would suggest to the company is that the glide parts weren’t labeled with stickers like every other part was. That would have been a big help.

Some frustration, but overall worth it.
Color: Ink Black, Number of Items: 1, Color: Ink Black, Number of Items: 1
Sturdy. Everything came in one piece and the instructions were some of the clearest I've encountered for Amazon furniture. Took about an hour for me to muscle my way through with manual screwdrivers only. I do not recommend a drill unless you go slow, because screw placement will make or break this for you in my opinion. Problems I encountered and how I overcame them: Drawer was rickety, kept catching when trying to pull out. I had to go back and tighten the tiny black screws on the rails. If they are not as flush as you can possibly get them, they will cause the wheels to catch. Once I got them as tight as possible, the drawer pull out was much smoother. Getting the first set of rails on. Space was EXTREMELY tight and frustrating. I ended up using a small screwdriver from my house, pressing it tightly with one hand, and using a pair of pliers to turn the screwdriver. Like a socket wrench type action. This sucked, I can't lie. And it wasn't possible to put them on earlier due to the cam bolts/screws under the rail. But I got through it. Overall, this is worth the money as long as you are willing to take your time and line things up properly and really use some elbow grease to get the screws in straight and flush.
