Although he had no desire to attend West Point, his father was able to get him an appointment. After graduation, Grant was assigned as a quartermaster of an Infantry Regiment. At the outbreak of the Civil War, Grant was posted as a Captain in an Ohio Regiment. Through the efforts of an Illinois Congressman, Grant was promoted directly to Brigadier General.

Valiant Miniature Kit# 9924 - General US Grant. Grant was born on 27 April 1822 in Galena, Ohio. Although he had no desire to attend West Point, his father was able to get him an appointment. After graduation, Grant was assigned as a quartermaster of an Infantry Regiment. At the outbreak of the Civil War, Grant was posted as a Captain in an Ohio Regiment. Through the efforts of an Illinois Congressman, Grant was promoted directly to Brigadier General. Grant came to national attention by his actions at the Siege of Ft. Donaldson, and within the month was promoted to a Major General. Grant was put in charge of the Department of Western Tennessee. In recognition of his great victories at Vicksburg and Missionary Ridge, President Lincoln promoted him to Lieutenant General of all the Union Armies on 9 March 1864. This item is an unpainted and unassembled metal hobby kits. Standing figurines are approx. 2-1/2" - 3" tall. Kit is recommended for ages 8+ |

Finally a mount for my truck!
2015 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner. I've tried many different mounts - ones that stuck to the dash, stuck to the windshield, one that mounted in the cup holder in the console. They all were bad in their own way. This Offroam mount finally got it right. Easy installation - and when I say SOLID hold I mean it. No movement, no rattle, do creaking sound, etc, etc. I was very skeptical of the one-handed use getting the phone in and out but it's really a genius design.
Seriously - I just got it, so can't really speak to longevity yet. Judging by the design and quality of parts, I'll say it will be the last mount I ever purchase for this truck. Pay the extra, and be happy.

Great Quality, Perfect Fit
2015 Tacoma. This fit perfectly and is solid. Last/Different one I had on another vehicle broke one of my vent dividers. That can't happen with this design. Worth the money. Would absolutely recommend.
