DESCRIPTION
Since 2009 Panerai has celebrated the new Chinese year with a limited-edition timepiece. 2018 was the year of the dog, and Panerai released the PAM00858, a limited 88-piece edition timepiece. The PAM00858 has a closed case similar to a pocket watch that is 44mm in diameter and made of stainless steel. The external case has a traditional Chinese iconography featuring a dog in the midst of plum flowers engraved by Italian master craftsmen with an exhibition case back and a winding crown. Underneath the dog case design is a bullseye designed grey dial that features Arabic index hour markers, a date window and small seconds sub-dial. The PAM00858 is powered by the self-winding P.9000 caliber with date functionality and a power reserve of up to 72 hours. The case is paired with a brown leather bracelet with a stainless-steel pin buckle. It has a water resistance of 100 meters.
