De prachtig vormgegeven DDpai Mini One is uitgerust met fantastische functies en filmt met haarscherpe kwaliteit, vooral in het donker. Door het gebruik van de Sony Starvis IMX307 Night vision sensor zijn de beelden in het donker toch zeer helder en zijn veel details zichtbaar. Naast deze beeldkwaliteit is de DDpai uitgerust met Wifi en heeft hij 32gb eMMC geheugen ingebouwd zodat je geen MicroSD kaart meer nodig hebt.

Sony Starvis Night vision

Door het gebruik van de hoogwaardige Sony IMX307 Starvis beeldsensor neemt deze DDpai Mini One FullHD beelden op in super kwaliteit. De 30fps beelden zijn met name in het donker verrassend helder en duidelijk. De resolutie kan ook lager worden ingesteld op 720p om meer data op de 32gb geheugen kwijt te kunnen.

32gb eMMC intern geheugen

Uniek aan deze DDpai Mini One is het duurzame en innovatieve interne 32gb eMMC geheugen. eMMC (Embedded Multimedia Card) is een nieuwe manier van bestandsopslag waarbij het geheugen is verwerkt in het apparaat. Door eMMC is geen externe SD kaart meer nodig en eMMC is bovendien een stuk duurzamer dan reguliere SD kaarten. Volgens DDpai is de levensduur door het gebruik van eMMC in deze Mini One zo'n tien keer langer dan bij gebruik van normale SD kaarten.

DDpai Wifi

Deze DDpai Mini One is uitgerust met Wifi en kan daarom met de DDpai app worden gebruikt. De gebruiksvriendelijke app is handig te bedienen en kan worden gebruikt om live of opgeslagen beelden te bekijken en om instellingen te wijzigen. Ook eventuele firmware updates kunnen handig via de App worden uitgevoerd.

Automatische Time Lapse parking mode

De DDpai Mini One heeft een handige automatische parkeerstand waarmee de auto kan worden beveiligd wanneer deze geparkeerd staat. De parkeerstand wordt automatisch geactiveerd wanneer gedurende 15 minuten geen beweging wordt waargenomen. De parkeerstand werkt met Time Lapse, dit betekent dat elke seconde een foto wordt gemaakt die later als versnelde video kunnen worden afgespeeld. Het voordeel van een parkeerstand met Time Lapse is dat de opnames veel minder data en stroom verbruiken dan normale opnames. Bovendien worden personen en kentekens alsnog herkenbaar in beeld gebracht.

Let op: de (automatische) parkeerstand werkt alleen in combinatie met de optionele 'DDpai Mini One en 3 continue voeding' om de dashcam te voorzien van stroom bij een uitgeschakeld contact.

360˚ Roteerbare body met voeding

Het design van deze DDpai Mini One zorgt ervoor dat hij super eenvoudig te monteren is en in elk voertuig kan worden gebruikt. De camera is namelijk 360 graden verticaal draaibaar in de houder waardoor hij altijd op het wegdek kan worden gericht. Bovendien is de voeding van de dashcam verwerkt in de houder zodat de camera uit de houder kan worden gehaald zonder de voeding te verwijderen. De voeding is geschikt voor 12v en 24v voertuigen waardoor hij ook in vrachtwagens en bussen kan worden gebruikt. 

Het beeld van de DDpai Mini One kan in de instellingen 180 graden worden gedraaid. Op deze manier is het ook mogelijk de dashcam op het dashboard te monteren, hetgeen in bijvoorbeeld campers of vrachtwagens erg handig kan zijn. 

German Red Dot en IF design award

Door het strak vormgegeven en innovatieve design van de DDpai Mini One heeft hij prijzen gewonnen bij de German Red Dot en IF design awards. De Mini One misstaat dus in geen enkel voertuig. 

Super capacitor batterij

De DDpai Mini One is uitgerust met een super capacitor batterij. Deze batterij zorgt ervoor dat de camera zich na het wegvallen van de stroom op de juiste manier kan afsluiten. Super capacitor batterijen zijn speciaal ontwikkeld voor het gebruik in dashcams omdat ze duurzamer zijn dan reguliere Polymeer Liion batterijen en bovendien beter bestand zijn tegen hoge en lage temperaturen.

WDR

De DDpai Mini One is uitgerust met WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) om de beeldkwaliteit te verbeteren. Vooral in omstandigheden bij erg veel of erg weinig licht zorgt WDR ervoor dat de beeldkwaliteit toch goed is. 

140˚ wideview lens

Deze Mini One heeft een groothoeklens van 140 graden. Hierdoor wordt een zeer groot gebied waargenomen, niet alleen vóór de auto maar ook in de omgeving. Door het aspect ratio van 16:10 wordt de kijkhoek bovendien nog groter dan bij andere dashcams met een ratio van bijvoorbeeld 3:4.

Auto start

De DDpai Mini One dashcam begint automatisch te filmen wanneer de auto wordt gestart en stopt met filmen wanneer de auto wordt uitgezet. Je hoeft er dus niet meer naar om te kijken als hij in de auto hangt. 

Gsensor

Door de ingebouwde Gsensor merkt de dashcam wanneer je een ongeluk hebt gehad. Bij een impact worden beelden automatisch beveiligd opgeslagen zodat ze niet meer verloren gaan. Ze kunnen niet meer overschreven worden en ook niet via de dashcam worden verwijderd.

Low Voltage cutoff protection

De DDpai Mini One heeft in combinatie met de DDpai Mini One continue voeding de optie om een voltage in te stellen waarbij de dashcam uitschakelt wanneer de accu van de auto onder dit voltage komt. Het voltage is in te stellen op 12.4V, 12.0V en 11.8V.

Ingebouwde microfoon

De DDpai Mini One heeft een ingebouwde microfoon zodat ook geluid wordt opgenomen. De microfoon kan desgewenst ook worden uitgezet.

Datum en tijdsregistratie

De actuele tijd en datum worden altijd in beeld weergegeven zodat later kan worden aangetoond op welke tijd de betreffende opnames zijn gemaakt.

Overall sound thesis worthy of thoughtful consideration
Format: Kindle
Choudary’s book has the tag line, “Who wins when AI restacks the knowledge economy.” While the book is annoying in sections, vague in others, and prone to jargon in yet more locations, the basic thesis is sound and compelling. It’s worth considering. Choudary’s main argument is that the winners after AI technology is widely adopted will be those who take a systems view of their business rather than simply upgrading individual elements within it. He backs this with several examples based on past technological disruptions and hypothetical case studies. He argues that the best advantages from AI will come from improved communication and managing risk. He supports these arguments reasonably well within the chapters. He also includes 10 Takeaways at the end of each chapter, which is extremely helpful for recapping and making sure the reader understood the thesis. What gets annoying is Choudary goes back to the same case studies again and again and again. I reached the point of saying, “the horse is dead. Please stop flogging it.” Next, some of his arguments about things like “managing risk” are vague—there’s not enough about specific risks to be useful, which leaves AI as a magic wand to wave. Finally, as with many business writers, Choudary occasionally (but not overwhelmingly) drops into jargon like “technological solutionism.” Overall, I recommend the book. It’s made me think, even as I struggle to apply the principles to my own business.
