This gently used Maton 808 Cutaway was purchased from our collection in 2021. We are pleased to make it available once again to our many Maton fans. This one is especially nice, with the full body Tobacco Sunburst finish, a bit rare since the pandemic.

There is no fret wear and this 808 is setup to factory specs with a fresh set of Elixir Phosphor Bronze strings. Some "light" glossing of the satin nitro finish is apparent in contact areas, difficult to show in photos.

The original Maton hard case is in mint condition, and this guitar comes with a Maton Feedback Eliminator for the sound hole.

The 808 shape is a proprietary shape invented by Maton in the late 70's that caught on like wildfire and is their best selling body shape to this day. The 808 shape is the depth of a dreadnought, giving this smaller (almost OM size) guitar a much larger bass response. The most impressive feature of this 808C is it's versatility. Built with a cutaway for reaching those lead notes, this Nashville is suited to play virtually any style of music and will excel every time.
