U okviru projekta ” ????????? ???? ????????? ???? ????ž?????? ?????????? ???????????? ? ????????? ???ž???? ???????????? ????????? š????? ? ????? ? ???????????” provedeno je istraživanje o upoznatosti privatnih šumoposjednika sa PEFC standardima/certificiranjem na području Bosne i Hercegovine. 
Kao prepreke za provođenje procesa certificiranja ispitanici istraživanja označavaju više razloga:
Nedostatak informacija o procesu certificiranja (41,9%),
Nedostatak znanja (37,6%),
Nedostatak finansijskih sredstava (36,7%),
Nedostatak zajedničkih inicijativa za certificiranje od strane udruženja vlasnika privatnih šuma (34,8),
Nedostatak savjetodavne službe (25,2%),
Veličina posjeda (25,7%),
Administrativne prepreke (10,5%).
Ova objava je izrađena uz podršku projekta „Misli o prirodi!“ koji implementira Centar za promociju civilnog društva, a finansijski podržava Švedska i ne odražava nužno stavove Centra za promociju civilnog društva i Švedske.

As part of the project “????????? ?? ???? ????????? ??????? ?????????? ?? ???-???????????? ????????????? ??? ???????? ??? ??????????? ?????????? ?? ??????? ??????? ?? ?????? ??? ???????????”, research was conducted on the familiarity of private forest owners with PEFC standards/certification in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The obstacles to the certification process identified by the research respondents include:
Lack of information about the certification process (41.9%),
Lack of knowledge (37.6%),
Lack of financial resources (36.7%),
Lack of joint initiatives for certification by private forest owner associations (34.8%),
Lack of advisory services (25.2%),
Size of the property (25.7%),
Administrative barriers (10.5%).
